One of our reputed clients in Oman is seeking skilled Technicians – Substation for their Production Support Department, to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot substation equipment supporting production and power distribution operations.
SALARY: OMR 239
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain substation equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and panels.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Record operational data and report any deviations or faults to supervisors.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Follow safety protocols strictly while working with high-voltage equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in substation operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to work in industrial and high-voltage environments.
