One of our reputed clients in Oman is seeking skilled Technicians – Picking & Passivation for their Pipe & Outfitting Department, to support surface treatment and corrosion prevention processes in piping systems and outfitting projects.
SALARY: OMR 213 per month
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out pickling and passivation of stainless-steel piping and fittings.
- Follow chemical treatment procedures to prevent corrosion and improve durability.
- Read and interpret technical instructions, drawings, and work guidelines.
- Inspect and test treated surfaces to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals in a safe and organized manner.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, especially when handling chemicals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pickling, passivation, or surface treatment processes.
- Knowledge of stainless-steel piping systems and corrosion prevention methods.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in treatment tasks.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in industrial environments.
