One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced ELV Engineers / Assistant ELV Engineers to join their team. Candidates should have relevant experience in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance, with the ability to support ELV project implementation, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure reliable operation of security, communication, and building technology systems.

POSITION: ELV Engineers / Assistant ELV Engineers

SALARY: KD 170–225

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise ELV system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist in implementing ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, public address, and other low-voltage systems.
• Review ELV drawings, technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
• Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of ELV systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot ELV system faults and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, IT teams, project managers, technicians, and other site personnel.
• Ensure proper installation, configuration, and integration of ELV equipment and related systems.
• Assist in cable routing, termination, labelling, testing, and verification activities.
• Monitor project progress and support the timely completion of ELV installation works.
• Ensure ELV materials, tools, and equipment are used efficiently and maintained properly.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, testing results, inspections, and maintenance work.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and relevant technical standards.
• Support preventive maintenance and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
• Provide technical assistance to technicians and junior team members during installation and troubleshooting activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in ELV systems, installation, maintenance, or project execution; suitable junior candidates may also apply.
• Knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, intercom, and public address systems.
• Ability to read and interpret ELV drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with ELV equipment installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
• Basic knowledge of networking and IP-based security systems is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and relevant installation standards.
• Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when working with project teams and technicians.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction, building services, or project environment.

• Employment Type: Full-time
