One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Civil Engineers / Junior Civil Engineers to join their team. Candidates should have relevant experience in civil engineering, construction activities, site supervision, and project coordination, with the ability to monitor construction works, interpret technical drawings, ensure quality standards, and support the timely completion of civil engineering projects.

POSITION: Civil / Junior Civil Engineers

SALARY: KD 170–225

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities to ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
• Review civil drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.
• Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor the progress of civil works and report any delays or technical issues.
• Ensure construction materials, tools, and equipment are used efficiently.
• Coordinate with surveyors, technicians, and other departments to resolve site-related issues.
• Identify construction defects and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, daily progress, inspections, and material usage.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, technical documents, and other project records.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and relevant construction standards.
• Support quality control inspections and ensure proper workmanship throughout the project.
• Assist in coordinating material requirements and construction resources.
• Report project updates and technical concerns to senior engineers and project management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in civil engineering, construction, or site supervision; junior candidates with suitable qualifications may also apply.
• Knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with construction quality standards and site safety procedures.
• Ability to monitor site progress and coordinate construction activities.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prepare site reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
• Basic knowledge of construction-related software and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction or project environment.
