Commis 1, 2 & 3 (Qatar)

One of our prestigious clients in Qatar is looking for dedicated Commis 1, 2 & 3 to join their fast-food restaurant chain immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking and kitchen operations while maintaining food quality, cleanliness and hygiene standards in a professional restaurant environment.

SALARY: Negotiable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with daily food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting and measuring food items.
  • Support senior chefs with the preparation of dishes according to recipes and instructions.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
  • Keep kitchen workstations, utensils and equipment clean and organized.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
  • Store ingredients properly and follow food handling guidelines.
  • Assist with stock rotation and inform supervisors when ingredients need replenishment.
  • Ensure food preparation areas are ready before service.
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and other kitchen team members during busy periods.
  • Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
  • Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is an advantage.
  • Candidates with relevant culinary training or qualifications are preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions and kitchen procedures.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
  • Responsible, punctual and hardworking attitude.
  • Willingness to work in Qatar and complete the required duty hours.
