One of our prestigious clients in Qatar is looking for experienced Pastry Chefs specializing in Arabic and Italian cuisine to join their fast-food restaurant chain immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of pastries and desserts while maintaining consistent quality, food safety and hygiene standards in a professional kitchen environment.

SALARY: Negotiable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts and baked products inspired by Arabic and Italian cuisine.
• Follow recipes and preparation procedures to maintain consistent taste, texture and presentation.
• Prepare doughs, fillings, creams, toppings and other pastry ingredients.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment, ovens and kitchen tools safely.
• Decorate and present pastries and desserts to the required standards.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures and product quality.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Keep pastry preparation areas, utensils and equipment clean and organized.
• Monitor ingredient stock and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry-making role.
• Knowledge of pastry preparation and baking techniques.
• Familiarity with Arabic and Italian pastries and desserts will be an advantage.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and proper ingredient storage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good teamwork, time-management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail in baking, decoration and presentation.
• Willingness to work in Qatar and complete the required duty hours.
