One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Maintenance Electrical Engineers (Pumps & Control Panels) to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical systems, water pumps, motor control systems, and electrical control panels to ensure safe and reliable operation.

SALARY: KWD 200

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, pumps, motors, and control panels.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control panels and motor control circuits.
• Diagnose electrical faults in pump motors, starters, contactors, relays, overloads, and protection devices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot booster, freshwater, transfer, and other water pump systems.
• Check electrical connections, cables, terminals, switches, and control components.
• Test motor insulation, continuity, voltage, current, and other electrical parameters.
• Troubleshoot automatic and manual pump control systems.
• Inspect and maintain MCCs, distribution boards, motor starters, and related electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control panel schematics.
• Supervise or carry out panel wiring, component replacement, and electrical modifications when required.
• Conduct functional testing and commissioning after repair and maintenance work.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential electrical or mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with mechanical and maintenance teams for pump and equipment-related repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with electrical safety procedures and company standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant electrical qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably involving pumps and control panels.
• Strong knowledge of motor control circuits, starters, contactors, relays, overloads, and protection systems.
• Good understanding of pump electrical systems and automatic control arrangements.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control panel schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of electrical safety standards and safe working practices.
