One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Freshwater / Booster Pump Repair Technicians to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining and servicing freshwater and booster pumps, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out pump testing and ensuring all repair and maintenance activities are completed safely and according to project specifications and quality standards.

SALARY: KWD 130

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, repair and maintain freshwater and booster pumps and related equipment.
• Carry out dismantling, servicing, repair and reassembly of freshwater and booster pumps.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in water pumping systems.
• Check and repair pump motors, impellers, bearings, seals and couplings.
• Replace worn or damaged pump components and spare parts.
• Carry out pump alignment and ensure proper installation of pump components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of freshwater and booster pump systems.
• Conduct testing of repaired pumps to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Check pump pressure, flow, vibration, noise and operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot pump starting, running and performance problems.
• Inspect electrical connections, control panels and motor components related to pumping systems.
• Read and understand pump manuals, technical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection, repair and maintenance activities.
• Use mechanical and electrical tools safely during repair and maintenance works.
• Coordinate with engineers, electricians, plumbers and other maintenance teams.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Follow project specifications, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite.
• Complete assigned pump repair and maintenance tasks within the required timeframes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ITI / Diploma qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Pump Technology or a relevant technical field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in freshwater and booster pump repair and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of centrifugal, booster and water supply pumps.
• Experience in dismantling, repairing and assembling pumps.
• Knowledge of pump motors, impellers, bearings, mechanical seals and couplings.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience in pump alignment and performance testing.
• Basic knowledge of electrical motors, control panels and pump control systems.
• Ability to read and understand pump drawings, manuals and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of mechanical tools and pump maintenance equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under deadlines and in different site conditions.
