One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Electrical Control Panels Technicians to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, wiring, installing, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical control panels and related electrical control systems, ensuring all panel works are completed accurately, safely and according to project specifications and quality standards.

SALARY: KWD 130

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble and install electrical control panels according to project requirements and specifications.
• Carry out panel wiring, termination and point-to-point connections.
• Install electrical components such as breakers, contactors, relays, terminals, switches and control devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and schematics.
• Mount and arrange electrical components inside control panels.
• Carry out cable routing, dressing, tagging and termination inside control panels.
• Perform continuity checks and electrical testing of control panel wiring.
• Test control panels and identify wiring, component and operational faults.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical control panel faults.
• Inspect control panels to ensure correct wiring, component installation and workmanship.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of electrical control panels.
• Maintain and repair existing electrical control panels and control systems.
• Replace defective electrical components and damaged wiring as required.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of control panels.
• Ensure panels are properly labelled and wiring is organized according to specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, electricians and other technical teams.
• Maintain electrical tools, testing equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Follow project specifications, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete assigned panel works within the required timeframes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ITI or Diploma / Polytechnic qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a relevant technical field.
• Relevant experience in electrical control panel assembly, wiring, installation and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of electrical control panels, control circuits and electrical components.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with panel wiring, cable termination and point-to-point connections.
• Knowledge of breakers, contactors, relays, timers, terminals, switches and control components.
• Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience in electrical testing and commissioning of control panels.
• Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and insulation testers.
• Knowledge of motor control circuits and electrical protection devices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under deadlines and in different site conditions.
