One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Painters to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out painting and finishing works, preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, interpreting project requirements and ensuring painting activities are completed safely and according to project specifications and quality standards.

SALARY: KWD 120

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform painting works according to project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping and removing old paint or coatings.
• Apply primer, paint, protective coatings and finishing materials to various surfaces.
• Mix and prepare paints, thinners and other coating materials as required.
• Carry out brush, roller and spray painting works.
• Ensure proper coverage, smooth finishing and uniform application of paint.
• Repair cracks, holes, uneven surfaces and other surface defects before painting.
• Read and understand painting specifications, colour requirements and technical instructions.
• Protect floors, equipment, fixtures and surrounding areas during painting activities.
• Operate painting tools, spray machines and related equipment safely.
• Inspect completed painting works for quality, colour consistency and finishing.
• Identify and rectify painting defects and uneven finishes.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow correct procedures for handling and storing paints and chemicals.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians and other site teams.
• Follow project specifications, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite.
• Complete assigned painting tasks within the required timeframes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ITI qualification in Painting or a relevant technical qualification.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience as a Painter.
• Strong experience in building, construction and infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
• Experience with brush, roller and spray painting.
• Knowledge of different types of paints, primers, coatings and finishing materials.
• Ability to mix and prepare paints and coatings correctly.
• Good knowledge of painting tools, equipment and spray machines.
• Ability to achieve smooth, clean and uniform finishes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of painting quality and finishing requirements.
• Ability to work on different surfaces and in different site conditions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under deadlines and physically demanding conditions.
