One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced ELV Technicians to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting ELV systems, carrying out system connections and switch programming, and ensuring all activities are completed safely and according to project specifications and quality standards.

SALARY: KWD 140

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, configure and maintain ELV systems according to project requirements and specifications.
• Carry out installation and maintenance of ELV equipment, devices and related components.
• Install and terminate ELV cables and network connections.
• Configure and test ELV system devices and equipment.
• Perform switch programming and configuration for ELV network systems.
• Carry out testing and commissioning of ELV systems.
• Troubleshoot ELV systems, network connections and related equipment.
• Identify and rectify system faults and connectivity issues.
• Read and interpret ELV system drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular inspection of ELV systems.
• Ensure ELV installations meet required project specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain ELV tools, testing equipment and installation materials in good working condition.
• Coordinate with engineers, network technicians, electricians and other site teams.
• Maintain proper records of installation, testing and maintenance activities.
• Follow project specifications, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete assigned ELV works within the required timeframes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ITI or Diploma qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, IT or a relevant technical field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience as an ELV Technician.
• Good knowledge of ELV system installation, testing and maintenance.
• Experience with ELV systems, structured cabling and network infrastructure.
• Switch programming and configuration knowledge is preferable.
• Good knowledge of network switches, cables, connectors and related equipment.
• Experience in cable installation, termination and testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot ELV systems and network connectivity issues.
• Ability to read and understand ELV drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and ELV systems.
• Good knowledge of ELV installation tools and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under deadlines and in different site conditions.
