One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, carrying out fire alarm panel programming and ensuring all activities are completed safely and according to project specifications and quality standards.

SALARY: KWD 140

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain and repair fire alarm systems according to project requirements and specifications.
• Install and connect fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders and other related equipment.
• Carry out fire alarm system testing, inspection and commissioning.
• Perform fire alarm panel programming and configuration.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm systems and identify faults.
• Carry out fault finding and rectify defective components and system issues.
• Perform testing of detectors, alarm devices, control panels and related equipment.
• Install, route and terminate fire alarm cables.
• Read and interpret fire alarm system drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Ensure fire alarm installations meet required project specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain fire alarm tools, testing equipment and materials in good working condition.
• Coordinate with engineers, electricians and other site teams.
• Maintain proper records of installation, testing and maintenance activities.
• Follow project specifications, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete assigned fire alarm works within the required timeframes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ITI or Diploma qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Fire & Safety or a relevant technical field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
• Good knowledge of fire alarm system installation, testing and maintenance.
• Knowledge of fire alarm control panels, detectors, manual call points, sounders and related devices.
• Fire alarm panel programming and configuration knowledge is preferable.
• Experience in fire alarm cable installation, termination and testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and rectify fire alarm system faults.
• Ability to read and understand fire alarm drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems.
• Good knowledge of fire alarm testing and commissioning procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work under deadlines and in different site conditions.
