One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced SCADA & PLC Engineers to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for SCADA and PLC engineering activities, system configuration and integration, troubleshooting, commissioning and supporting industrial automation systems using major SCADA platforms and industrial communication protocols.

SALARY: KWD 350 – 600

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, configure and maintain SCADA and PLC-based automation systems.
• Perform SCADA system configuration, integration and troubleshooting.
• Work with SCADA platforms including Siemens, Honeywell and Emerson.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks and protocols.
• Work with PROFINET, PROFIBUS, DNP3, Modbus, Modbus TCP/IP and EtherNet/IP protocols.
• Integrate PLCs, SCADA systems, field devices and industrial communication networks.
• Diagnose communication and system-related faults and implement appropriate solutions.
• Support testing, commissioning and startup of SCADA and PLC systems.
• Review system requirements, technical documentation and automation system configurations.
• Coordinate with project, electrical, instrumentation and control teams during project execution.
• Support site activities related to automation system installation and commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system records and configuration information.
• Monitor system performance and assist with preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure automation systems comply with project specifications and applicable standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.Tech in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• 5–6 years of Gulf experience in SCADA, PLC or industrial automation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Experience with Siemens SCADA systems.
• Experience with Honeywell SCADA systems.
• Experience with Emerson SCADA systems.
• Good knowledge of PROFINET.
• Good knowledge of PROFIBUS.
• Good knowledge of DNP3.
• Good knowledge of Modbus.
• Good knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP.
• Good knowledge of EtherNet/IP.
• Good understanding of PLC, SCADA and industrial communication systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
