One of our prestigious clients in Qatar is looking for experienced Electrical Technicians to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring all work is completed safely and according to required technical standards.

SALARY:

Negotiable – Based on experience and qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Inspect electrical panels, motors, control systems, wiring, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable installation, termination, and connections.
• Install and maintain switches, sockets, lighting systems, circuit breakers, and electrical accessories.
• Test electrical circuits and equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Identify defective components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of electrical machinery and equipment.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and electrical faults.
• Ensure electrical tools and testing equipment are used safely.
• Follow approved work procedures, electrical standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the work area is safe and organized.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or Electrical Maintenance Technician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Good knowledge of electrical panels, motors, control systems, cables, and protection devices.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and insulation testers.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Good understanding of electrical safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial or site environments.
• GCC/Qatar experience will be an added advantage.
• Relevant electrical trade certification will be an advantage.
