One of our prestigious clients in Qatar is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

SALARY:

Negotiable – Based on experience and qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel-powered equipment.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, fuel systems, cooling systems, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and engine-related faults.
• Carry out engine overhauls, repairs, and component replacements when required.
• Service and maintain heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Check and replace engine oils, filters, belts, hoses, and other components.
• Use diagnostic tools and mechanical testing equipment to identify faults.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, service instructions, and equipment specifications.
• Carry out routine inspections to identify potential mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all tools and workshop equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
• Follow company maintenance procedures and workplace safety regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel.
• Complete assigned repair and maintenance work within the required time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical qualification or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles/equipment.
• Experience with engine diagnostics, repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
• Good knowledge of fuel, cooling, lubrication, transmission, and braking systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical faults.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and service documentation.
• Good knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop or industrial environments.
• GCC/Qatar experience will be an added advantage.
• Relevant trade certification will be an advantage.
