Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain, and repair vehicles according to required standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems.
• Identify damaged or worn components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform engine maintenance, oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine servicing.
• Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct vehicle performance checks after completing repairs.
• Identify potential mechanical problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs.
• Keep tools and the work area clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and company standards.
• Work closely with other technicians and workshop personnel to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Auto Technician / Automotive Technician is required.
• Good knowledge of automobile mechanical systems and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repair.
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, braking, suspension, and steering systems.
• Ability to diagnose vehicle faults and perform appropriate repairs.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Good technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical information and vehicle manuals.
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant automotive technical qualifications or vocational training will be an advantage.
